Dr. Pangarkar one of the faculty that will be spearheading the AMA chapter. He earned a PhD in Marketing from Texas Tech University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management. I just took his International Marketing course this past semester which I thoroughly enjoyed! I recommend taking one of his classes if you haven’t yet.
I’m excited to see this club come into fruition on campus, it’s something I know students have been seeking. Plus, I think it’s going to be a lot of fun working together. Let me know if any of you need any additional information on this project. Thanks for your time and I look forward to speaking with you all soon.

Hello Professor,
Thank you for understanding, I really appreciate it.
I will work towards getting the assignment submitted by next Wednesday. Thank you again, I am truly grateful for your support.
3) Email from student in International Marketing class
Hello Dr. Pangarkar!
I would like to ask for some assistance with the writing assignment 2. I seem to have troubles with the full ownership side of the paper. Perhaps I’m overthinking or thinking too narrowly. I’ve been looking for companies who have gone internationally with the full ownership. I haven’t been able to find one and be able to make examples and such.
I would like to say, I have absolutely enjoyed your course thus far. I came from the tech. Our teachers at the tech come with a lot of experience, like yourself. I enjoy how you teach from experience.
Thanks,

Hi Professor Pangarkar,
I cannot thank you enough for reopening the exam after I had failed to realize it was missing. I just completed it, and wanted to let you know I appreciate your generosity and kindness to give me another chance. Again, I apologize for this being last minute, and I will not be able to thank you enough. I hope you have a great break and second semester. Thank you, again!
I will never be able to repay you. Thank you so much. Again, I am so sorry about all of this. Thank you so much, again.
Best,
5) Email from MBA Student (“The Path to Sustainability” course)
Hello Dr. Pangarkar!
I look forward to learning this next trimester with you and am admittedly a bit ‘new’ to this topic as it relates to my profession. I work in Healthcare Marketing and this has not been a part of our strategy thus far… After reading the first case study (Unilever), I am intrigued in how sustainability lends itself into marketing strategy! With your extensive Marketing background, I can’t wait to further explore this correlation with you to see how I can take this back to my organization! Perhaps there are areas of improvement we need to consider here at Door County Medical Center…
See you tomorrow!
6) 2 Emails from MBA Student- “The Path to Sustainability” course
Hello, Dr. Pangarkar – I’m really looking forward to your class and delving deeper into global best practices around sustainability and social responsibility!
I’m especially excited to lead off the course studying Unilever. My company is the sole supplier partner for UL’s retail special pack and display merchandising programs and one of its top 15 global suppliers. With that, I’ve had the pleasure of being deeply involved as my company’s Lead the past 5 years for UL’s Sustainable Living Plan and Partners With Purpose supplier group. Can you believe a Northeast WI based company was actually honored with UL’s 2020 Global Social Impact Award across all 270 of its major global suppliers? Pretty profound and humbling experience. I would be happy to share any insights or perspectives during this case study review…. it’s been such a tremendous experience.
Thanks for sending the syllabus and reading details out early so we can get a kick start on the course.
Happy Thanksgiving and see you next on Saturday,
Hello again, Dr. Pangarkar – can’t wait to learn from your experiences, the amazing guest speakers you’ve lined up, and the case studies!

Thanks again!!
8) Email from student in International Marketing class
Hello Dr. Pangarkar,
Thank you for understanding! My meeting ran a little longer than the anticipated 15 minutes, but I did try to join the class again after my meeting finished. I wasn’t let back in once I tried to join again. I only tell you this, so you know that I did try to join again. I hope other students were able to share their experience with the recession in 2008.
I really appreciate that you are holding a real lecture and discuss every week. I haven’t had this from a class in what seems like forever. All my classes that were pushed online (besides your course) have had no lectures which I think hurt a lot of students’ education and experience. It’s certainly more challenging if a course/professor doesn’t have any online lectures, recorded or live. Anyways, thank you for having lectures and encouraging discussion! It is much appreciated.
I will see you in class tomorrow!
Kind regards,

Great class, loved the professor. I appreciated how he made his own PowerPoints and quizzes. I liked the structure, and would definitely take one of his courses again. - This was a challenging course with a lot of writing. Something that I struggle with, but also grew a ton during this course.
Informative - I loved this professor and his learning style. I would take another class from him again. He also related what we were learning to real-life examples which kept the content interesting.
- I would especially like to state my thankfulness to have un-timed quizzes and tests. Even though I do not qualify for disability measures, I am a slow test taker in general. By not having a time limit, I was able to read and comprehend questions fully and answer thoroughly. I had many other classes that I would rush through quizzes/tests just to get it turned in on time.
I had a wonderful experience with this professor, he does a great job keeping students engaged especially during this time of covid having to do class virtually. - The instructor was very knowledgeable and his recorded lectures were very helpful. Overall he did a great job at making the course very easy to navigate online.
- LOVED this class! The format was excellent and not having a time crunch on quizzes and tests made them so much less stressful and helped me earn much better grades. The power points and lectures were exceptionally informative and the content was presented in a way that allowed me to absorb it well. Love Dr. Pangarkar!!!
- Dr. Pangarkar did an excellent job. I had a close friend pass away which lead to a conflict with taking a test. He adapted to my challenges and gave me another opportunity for success without shaming. I would bestow any awards upon him possible. Truly went above and beyond for me at a time when he did not have to. Cannot thank him enough.
- Organized and great feedback throughout the course
- Good class but would be great if we could do more interactive assignments instead of just quizzes. Especially since marketing is very creative, critical thinking, and hands on.
- I really enjoyed this class. The powerpoints were very informative. Overall, great class!
- This professor did foster an inclusive environment. He enjoyed engaging the students in conversation during class time.
- Yes the instructor fostered an inclusive environment and valued each student’s contributions to the class. He respected the diverse backgrounds and identities of each student. The instructor very much treated all students with equity and welcomed questions and any concerns from all students. It was such an interactive class and I do appreciate that. Personally am from a different culture and ethnicity and I fitted well in the class and I felt very much at home. Cheers to Professor Pangarkar
- Good class.
- Overall, I thought this was a good capstone course for the business administration major and I like the design of the course. Dr. Pangarkar was good at presenting the course material and his projects were designed in a way that was challenging, yet didn’t feel like busywork. His exams were also challenging, but fair and clear with directions and expectations. In addition, I greatly appreciate that he brought in speakers from the professional world to talk to the class. They gave a lot of great information and were one of the highlights of the semester. Overall, it was a good class and I would do another course with Dr. Pangarkar again if given the opportunity.
- The instructor was very professional in his approach to class engagement. He was always available when approached via emails if it was not class or school day or time. He engaged students in group work which was very interactive too. Generally Professor Pangarka did a very good job.
- In class was engaging and there were good discussions between professor and students.
- Dr. Pangarkar is energetic and brought that energy to the classroom. He treated everyone well, I did not notice that anyone was treated in a different way which is appreciated.
- Yes. Always very positive and enthusiastic.
- Absolutely!! Not only was he teaching the principles of sustainability and social responsibility, Dr. Pangarkar was also an exemplary model of them. He encouraged diversity of thought, asked engaging questions, respected everyone’s diverse opinions without debating them, and allowed our cohort to arrive at our own conclusions and perspectives.
- Great course, great readings, and speakers. Would like to see what we could come up with if we apply the learnings to our industries.
- Dr. Pangarkar clearly has a passion for this subject and brought that passion to the classroom. He is inciteful and I really enjoyed learning more about sustainability from him.
- This was one of the (if not THE) top courses of the Executive Impact MBA thus far and Dr. Pangarkar was the key reason for that. First, to have the opportunity to hear from and interact with three esteemed global CSR leaders was an incredible experience! Plus, the case studies were eye-opening and gave those of us without global experience perspective to issues/opportunities leading in the global economy brings. UW-Green Bay is really lucky to have landed Dr. Pangarkar as a faculty member.
